Prices of sessions vary depending on the time of year eg. in summer a 2hr 'Guided River Trip' everything incl. £40 and winter £30 for the same. If you have your own paddleboard (BYO) then you can book into any activity at @50% off and some of the paddling events will be free.
1:1 SUP Sessions
These one to one or private group sessions are available, they are more expensive. We provide the equipment unless you bring your own. Improving your paddling skills will ensure you paddle faster and more efficiently. You will need to contact us directly to arrange. Available all year round.
All our paddleboard activities (except board hire) come with a fully qualified Paddlesports Instructor to support and guide you throughout your session. Paddlers are given as much space or support as they need. We will paddle at your pace and keep you safe as well informed on the local history and geology if you are interested.
Skills & Rescue
A informative experiential 2 hour session that is super important if you plan to take yourself out on the waterways. Learning how to manovre the board in all sorts of ways which could help get yourself and others out of trouble. This group session is ideal who wish to hire boards or own their own boards. You will practice rescuing others, all good fun!
Guided River Trips
This is an opportunity to explore the Thames waters between Marlow and Bray. Each trip is 2 hours, complete with all equipment (unless you bring your own) needed to get your started. You might start sitting and hopefully finish feeling like a pro, standing up with the guidance of the instructors. Local geology, history and wildlife are to be gained on these exquisite trips.
These are skilled based sessions for those who want to paddle faster, more efficiently and learn to manoeuvre the board. You don't need a board or any experience but you enjoy learning and pushing yourself. Ideal if you have your own board or want to start paddleboarding using our equipment. You can make an informed choice to buy a board later or continue to hire.
Teens For Kids
We have some super teen instructors who are great at inspiring youngsters to develop their board skills through fun and games. There will always be a senior instructor present. We have found the kids response so much better to the younger instructors.
Kids & Teen Paddle Parties were a great success last year.
Out of the peak season and throughout the winter on Sundays we go out paddling somewhere new and different. This is a really social time, paddling at a relaxing pace, exploring the different local waterways and further afield.
Sunday safaris are for those who can paddle at 3mph for 3 hours, they are free to those who have their own boards, no tuition provided.
Yoga stretches are included in most of the sessions to prevent muscles aching. If you want more yoga just ask one of the instructors. We invite yoga, Pilates and fitness instructors to host classes on the river during the summer months. We provide the boards and paddle assistance to keep your group safe, whilst you teach.
A paddleboard ball sport with a special SUPolo paddle that can scoop a ball to throw and catch and paddle fast. One of the quickest ways to advance your footwork and board skills. Great fun for family, friends, teens or work colleagues to play together. Looking for players who want to play regularly.
An early morning paddle 6.30-7.30am throughout the year. No cost if you have your own board and as long as you have the experience you can hire a board and join us. You have to be fit for these sessions as they are short and fairly fast. Ideally, you have completed the Skills & Rescue class with us.
Freebie evening paddles for those with their own boards, exploring different sections of the river locally. You must be able to paddle at 2.5 to 3 mph for 2-2.5 hours. These sessions are run by an experienced volunteer, who is not a paddlesports instructor. Another prerequisite is completion of our Skills & Rescue class or a series of Progressive Skills training. No board hires.
Bring your own board and enjoy a shorter 'freebie' paddle at a slower pace for 60-90 minutes from Boulters Lock. Kids on boards with parents and teens are welcome. This social paddle has the same requirements as Moochy Mondays. No tuition is given in this session and is run by an experienced volunteer. Online booking is essential for our 'social freebie' paddles.
