WONDERING WHAT TO BRING PADDLEBOARING?
Clothing
Quick dry synthetic sports clothes, cottons go soggy & cold. What to wear depends on the weather of the day. Flip flops or water shoes.
Skin & Eye Care
Sunscreen -sunglasses & hats. Insect repellent for evenings. Prescription glasses need to be secured, we have retainers if you don't.
Wetsuits/Shorties
Do not buy one as many of them are too thick and restrictive. Great for kids or if you are partaking in a fun skills or safety & rescue session.
Anything else?
Leave change of clothes and other items in the car. We provide small dry bags for phones and keys. Bring a drink and any medication.
WHAT IS INCLUDED ?
Boards
Top quality super stable Quroc boards & carbon paddlers are included. Suitable up to 120kg. Kids 8 and over shorter paddles.
Photos
Photos will be taken by us during the session unless you say otherwise, these will be for you and shared via WhatsApp.
Buoyancy Aids
B.A's all sizes are available and recommended. We also provide the dry bags, lightweight jackets & river licence.
Instructors
All our paddleboarding activities (except board hire) come with experienced, qualified instructors who are first aid trained.
COOLER DAYS requires extra kit, we provide these at no extra costs, except Dry-suits
Packed Dry Bag
Carry a dry bag with rain proof over-trousers and a lightweight fleece and a windbreaker that are easy to put over wet clothes.
Hats & Gloves
Hats & gloves- essential for some paddlers and not for others. Read out BLOG - Gloves v mitts- know your fingers!
Footwear
It is really important to get this right on cooler days. Neoprene boots are advisable, if you own a board, look into seal socks.
Dry Suits
